Kindergarten Introduction Discovery Sessions (KIDS): Friday, May 8

Kindergarten Introduction Discovery Sessions,' or KIDS , is an orientation program for children entering Kindergarten in September 2026. Held at the Coman Hill Elementary School, this initiative introduces children to the school to promote a feeling of comfort and familiarity among the incoming kindergartners.  Activities include getting on a school bus, playing on the playground (weather permitting), and a school tour. KIDS is the new name for the previous School Orientation Sessions (SOS).

Please arrive promptly for the 4pm start, the session lasts approximately 1 hour. Due to tour group size restrictions, only one parent may join and absolutely no siblings, please. You may only sign up for one session of the five options; click 'Select Different Date' under the Time and Location section above. KIDS date selection is on a first come first served basis with each daily session capped at 40 children. Please register twice for twins, triplets, etc.

This event is free for all BHPA members and all participants must be PAID BHPA Members - please visit bhpa.info to join before you sign up for KIDS. If unsure of membership status, contact Michelle at BHPAMembership@gmail.com.  Please sign up for the event using the same email and login details that you used when you registered for BHPA this year.

If You Get Waitlisted: Our number one priority is that every child gets a KIDS spot. If the day you would like to attend is full, get a waitlist ticket. You will indicate ALL days that you could be available to attend in the registration form (so that you do not need to register for multiple waitlists manually). If you are on the waitlist AND also register for a KIDS ticket on a different day, we will notify you of the availability only after all families who only have waitlist tickets get an KIDS ticket.
