About Us
The Developmental Support Committee grew out of connections made between Armonk parents through the BHPA. We found that having other parents to talk to—people who understood the questions, concerns, and sometimes overwhelming process of finding the right resources for their children—made a real difference.
Today, the DSC provides opportunities for parents to connect, exchange experiences and resources, and learn from one another through informal meet-ups, learning events, and community programs.
Our events are open to all Byram Hills parents of preschool-aged children, whether or not your child has a diagnosis, IEP, or 504 Plan. You don’t need to have a specific concern to join us—any parent interested in supporting their child’s development is welcome.
Conversations at DSC events are informal and confidential, with parents sharing their own experiences and perspectives. The DSC does not provide professional or diagnostic advice and does not speak on behalf of the Byram Hills School District.

First Fridays
Join the Developmental Support Committee for our October 'First Friday Morning Meet-up' at DeCicco's. First Friday mornings throughout the school year offer a casual opportunity for parents to connect, share experiences, ask questions, and learn from one another.
