About the Event

Grab the kids and join us for some fall fun at the BHPA’s annual pumpkin decorating event! Saturday, October 19th, from 9:30-11:30am (come any time), at IBM Park (205 Business Park Drive in Armonk). RSVP by 10/12 to reserve your pumpkins!

As an 'Entry Fee' we are asking for donations to the Wampus Community Families who host trick or treating in the Byram Hills School district, "School Streets".  Donations should include Halloween candy and/or non-food treats. Ideas here: https://www.foodallergy.org/resources/ideas-non-food-treats

Every year the streets around the Wampus School (Glendale, Wampus, School Street) are closed off for the Armonk Halloween Trick or Treat Extravaganza. As you might have heard, from your friends and family in the area, the residents of this community give out over 2000 pieces of candy per house on Halloween night.  In an effort to help the families in this community we will be collecting candy to donate to them.   In addition to candy you can also donate non-food items as part of the Teal Pumpkin Project.  Every child wants to be able to experience the joy and tradition of trick-or-treating on Halloween. But kids with food allergies are often left out of the fun, since most candy is off limits.  The Teal Pumpkin Project helps make sure all children will come home on Halloween night with something they can enjoy.  All it takes is offering non-food treats, such as glow sticks or small toys, as an alternative to candy. Any money donated through the pay your own price feature will be used to purchase candy and non-food items. If you don't want to purchase candy or non-food items on your own, you can make a monetary donation at checkout that our Helping Hands Committee will use to purchase items to be distributed to the School Street families.
